Principle of Operation:
Designed using the air purge method. An air supply is being fed through the purge meter which regulates the required air flow from the top of the purge pipe.
When the air pressure (P) builds up inside the purge pipe until it is equal to the static pressure in the liquid, air is being discharged through the purge mouth at the tank bottom and goes up in the form of bubbles.
The pressure in the pipe (measuring depth) is transferred to the indicator in the control room by signal for remote indication.
