EXXON Mobil Requirement

For Tanker Vessel, we have concluded a list of systems available which is in accordance to the EXXON Mobil requirement. Our systems have mainly Type/Classification Approval by Major Classification.

1 Secion H - Cargo and Ballast System, H.17

Tank level measuring devices MUST be available for all cargo tanks, slop tanks and bunker tanks.

Automatic tank gauges are Strongly Preferred. Where fitted, these MUST have remote readings in the Cargo Control Room.

It is Strongly Preferred that the tank have remote readings in the Cargo Control Room.

Independent high level alarms MUST be fitted for all cargo tanks, slop tanks and bunker tanks.

They MUST be utilised during all cargo and bunker transfer operations and suitably located to alert personnel conducting the operations.

Independent high level alarms MUST be tested prior to cargo operations and tests properly recorded.

Vessels MUST have fixed cargo tank pressure monitoring equipment fitted, with a visual display unit installed in the cargo control room.

The system shall include manufacturers set high and low pressure alarms as detailed within OCIMF SIRE 4 VIQ CH. 8.30, and additionally a further minimum two adjustable, user defined, alarms limits which can be set as required.

These alarms should sound an audible and visual alarm in the CCR if the set limits are exceeded.

It is Strongly Preferred that vessels are fitted with a cargo tank pressure monitor display and alarm unit on the bridge in addition to the display and alarm unit installed in the cargo control room (H.29).

It is Strongly Preferred that vessels shall be fitted with a Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System (BNWAS).

It is Strongly Preferred that vessels are fitted in their Cargo Control Room with a device capable of monitoring and recording the load/ discharge manifold pressure.

It is Strongly Preferred that Anemometer display / monitoring repeater with a recorder (paper / digital) is available in the Cargo Control Room (CCR) and designed to be capable of setting a minimum of two desired alarms limits. This alarm should sound an audible and visual alarm in the Cargo Control Room (CCR) and on deck if the set limits are exceeded.

The vessel MUST have an automatic system of fire detection in the accommodation, laundry and galley areas. It is Strongly Preferred that the fire detection system covers all cabins, in addition to public rooms.

It is Strongly Preferred that a stand-by Oxygen analyser is fitted to serve as a back-up means in case of failure of the main O2 analyzer.
